It's #SilentSunday again guys and I want to share something beautiful with you. These are some photos from Hammershøi’s exhibition "The Eye That Listens". Hammershøi loved music, and that feels part of the idea behind the title, that his paintings are so quiet that they almost make form feel audible.

The portraits with negative space were some of my favourites, but I didn’t take any pics of them. They felt powerful because the empty space almost seemed to press down on you, just imagine being inside it. I love that kind of art, where there’s this tension between empty space and solidity
