The only better experience is to remove these cookies in the first place. This makes it sound like rust is not foss at all but some closed source program.

@pinskia I had a similar complaint about them spamming me with rustconf invitation (I never gave them my mail). Never got any sensible reply ofc.

@pinskia rust foundation is a corporate entity (in the most direct sense, it’s a 501(c)(6), a “business league” composed from representatives of various corporations, as well as representatives from the rust project; as opposed to e.g. PSF which is 501(c)(3), a public charity). I think their website is not directly controlled by the rust project, and is probably made by some sort of contractor.
