Shortly after learning about the British Columbia time zone change I asked folks from Ontario if BC is actually calling their new time zone “Pacific Time” or if it was a failure to edit out old stuff on Wikipedia. (In general, abolishing daylight-saving time by remaining on the old standard time is much easier on software than redefining the standard time.)
