I tried Conversations and Ejabberd as unified push. It works well. And it is easy to configure. But I do not expect pushes to go through 3rd party providers.

@ludman1 @daniel @mactunag @j_r @joinjabber Matrix uses a push gateway in their architecture: https://spec.matrix.org/v1.17/push-gateway-api/ matrix.gateway.unifiedpush.org is the default gateway to UnifiedPush servers
