Starfield released an update that made flying more immersive and I went from crashing every 15-20 minutes to every 2ish hours. I hate myself enough to actually give it another go since my opinion of the game wasn't as negative as most. I mention this to bring up a new policy I've decided to enact in the hopes others do the same and it doesn't become the new rule of the industry. If I read reviews two weeks after launch saying "this game is broken and badly designed" I'm not paying for your game. I might still play it if you do a Cyberpunk 2.0, but you've lost me as a paying customer. I don't know what else I can do while CFPB is useless and likely wouldn't care even if they were useful. I mean it with full sincerity when I say this stupid bait and switch and fix over 2-3 years should be illegal. Otherwise, every single AAA game is going to do this. Until such time as this practice can be stopped some other way, best I can hope is that voting with wallets can actually work at scale still, that it's not completely fucked.
