To push back against AI slop, I’m working on a way to comment that’s clearly anti-AI but also encouraging and supportive. Here’s my best shot so far, I commented this on a LinkedIn post. “I’m interested in the premise of this article. I think there probably are several stages we could define! Unfortunately I found it too difficult to get through— the structure and tone is very robotic, almost as if a computer wrote it 😅 I’d be interested in trying to read it again if you were to write this in a more human voice 🙏🏻” Trying to convey: true interest from me, clear boundary setting, and explicitly offering a path for the person to recover/repair the trust. I realize that it’s unlikely they will change their approach based on my comment… but I ALSO think it’s important to leave that as a possibility for folks.
