A ton of people, mainly leftist, have an issue where their ideology starts and ends at “AMERICA BAD” I think Hasan is a good example of this as he has defended China and Russia and didn’t stop to think about why. Is Russia good? Is China good? If you do defend them, whatever. But don’t do it without a good grounding as to why. You can never define yourself by only saying what you’re not. You first need to find out what you ARE. Who are you? What do you stand for? What are your grounding, foundational beliefs and values?
