Gardeners! Any tips for what we could grow in pots in our rather harsh front garden? Temperate, fenced on three sides, but still quite windy and gets SCORCHING sun.

@ametonym@todon.eu Roses and Lavender are the easiest and most forgiving in the sun. Depending the effect you want to have you can plant them even together, if you use the big modern raised garden beds like in the pucture. If you want pots, use high pots for the roses, they root deep, and lower ones for the lavender. Not too small in diameter, lavender grows... Also succulents or cactus are great in the sun and don't need much water.
