Airborne diseases don’t disappear just because reporting frameworks ignore them. COVID‑19 continues to circulate, Long COVID continues to affect individuals, the NHS & businesses. To be effective, RIDDOR must reflect the reality of airborne infection risks.

The RIDDOR consultation revises disease reporting but makes no mention of COVID‑19, airborne transmission, or Long COVID. That silence matters.
