Dyeing weekend is going better than the photo would indicate. This is step 1: indigo (acid dye cos alkalinity destroys protein) at 2/3 strength. It's actually more vibrant than the photo suggests. Now step 2 mordanting, ready for step 3 dyeing with goldenrod flowers for hopefully a foresty green. I've not done this 3-step process before, wish me luck.
