@mttaggart@infosec.exchange Honestly, that's even too kind for all the crap and madness we get every few weeks. For Anthropic, this is a loop. The quest for profit isn't in question. It's a constant. But something triggers this every now and then (the IPO?), and the company decides to go unhinged and cry wolf again. And maybe that's the thing: the more these companies cry wolf, the less people believe them, and that way, they get away with whatever they want to do under the radar, except that this method will snap back and punch them in the face.
