@david_chisnall@infosec.exchange I would go so far as to say that being able to question yourself, actively and openly listen to feedback and accept valid criticism is more important than being smart. This is particularly hard because a lot of suggestions will be bad, and it is easy to take this as a sign for "everyone else being stupid". Catching the good ideas from the sea of bad ones is the challenge. The other part is to see and admit own mistakes.
