First Prince Gnarlo Gravelfoot of the Grymwald Clan leaned over Freydis Cook's desk. "Hey, Human Girl," he said, "I heard that you've got your own dungeon party." Freydis glanced up, irritated. "What of it?" "Maybe next time," he said, "you can include me. You probably need a man to show you how it's really done." Behind him, Gnarlo's sycophants sniggered. Freydis rolled her eyes. "Just what we need - a second-rate Miasma user. No thanks, I can handle it myself." #microfiction

@Kensan_Oni@mastodon.social @vanellopemint@mastodon.art But neutralization definitely isn't punching His Snottiness in the nose and getting expelled for assaulting royalty. That he reacted to the cheering with an accusation rather than a bigger spell suggests that the latter is out of his grasp.

@Kensan_Oni@mastodon.social @vanellopemint@mastodon.art Yeah, if only a princess can rule over the Ruby City maybe mom is thrilled to be able to keep the monarchy in her line of descent rather than to have it pass to her failniece Grungetta. Although if these cursed bracelets are so common I'm surprised that the topic hasn't come up already. Maybe it's a sort of iffy case, but since Gnarlo did technically put the bracelet on of his own free will, mom thinks she can make the other goblins go along with it as long as Gnarlo doesn't violate too many other norms. Hence the dress.
