RE: https://mastodon.social/@caseyliss/117292619045675897 This is really spot-on, and it’s so sad and deflating to see repeat their mistakes with Vision Pro here with the Duo. I love the Vision Pro, but developers have neglected it because hasn’t a) made it a mass market appeal and b) hasn’t treated developers like true partners and why their platforms sell.

This “Running in background” thing in the Dock on Golden Gate really needs to get a toggle. I don’t wanna see it. That’s not what the Dock is for. #apple #macos #macos27

Ya know that call waiting feature Apple added a bit ago that silences unknown callers, ask them for their name, and then alerts you if they give one? Well, just got my first spam call that got through that. Played a pretty legit recording of “Hi there, Celine speaking” and then switched to regular robo voice when I picked up. The spam arms race continues.

I’ve submitted my very first app ever, Oughtyo, to the App Store. Pending App Review, it will be out in a couple weeks! Oughtyo is a simple audio player with powerful playback features, designed specifically for Apple platforms. With iOS 26+, create bookmarks and get an automatic transcription of the audio. A one-time purchase of $2.99 gets you the full app with no ads and updates for the life of the app. Read more here! https://ubidu.net/oughtyo #apple #iosdev #ios #appstore #audio #podcast

Maybe tomorrow will be the day I hear back from App Review? Maybe? Hopefully? Can’t wait to share Oughtyo with the world! https://ubidu.net/oughtyo #iosdev #ios #appstore #audio #podcast #apple #apps #booktok #testflight

@support @Iconfactory Hi guys, I’m new to using the app within the last month, since I saw the ability to post came to the app. I’ve ditched Ivory for it, and really like it so far. (Loved Ivory too) Are any of the following on your roadmap for future features of the app? I miss them from Ivory: • See who liked / boosted / quoted your posts • See and edit my profile in-app (not browser) • See other people’s profiles • Search for other accounts Thanks for building a great app!

Huge personal milestone for me today as Oughtyo goes up for pre-order on the App Store! Get it here, releasing on October 27: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/oughtyo-audio-player/id6816754754 #ios #appstore #booktok #indiedev #apple

Meet Oughtyo, the audio player designed to empower your listening experience. Whether you are an audiobook power-listener, a student reviewing lectures, or an audiophile with a massive library, Oughtyo is built for you. I have worked on this for over a year, and I’m thrilled to say it’s available for pre-order on the App Store, launching Oct 27! Pre-order on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6816754754 Or check out https://ubidu.net/oughtyo for more info! #apple #ios #booktok #audi...

Oughtyo hasn’t even released yet on the App Store (there’s still time to pre-order for $2.99! https://apps.apple.com/app/id6816754754) but I’m not taking my foot off the gas! Version 1.1 will bring the following enhancements: • Full accessibility support for relevant features • A beautiful landscape design for iPhones • A new design specifically for iPhone Duo #booktok #indiedev #ios #audiobook #appstore #apple #iPhoneDuo #accessibility

What do you do after you make an app? Make more apps, of course! Teabear (the amber icon with the bear glyph) will almost certainly be Ubidu’s next app to launch after Oughtyo. I just started working on PigE, which is the pink pig icon, and that green icon at the end probably won’t ever see the light of day, it’s just a game I made for my fiancé and I to play remotely. But, loving how the icons are looking next to each other. It’s so fun to have stuff I’ve made running on my phone!

Man, I love ordering fun stuff off Etsy that you can’t get anywhere else. (Lots of times because it’s using copyrighted IP…somehow?) And 99.9% of the time it’s a great experience. But this guy I dealt with today who sent me essentially a scam product and then was SUCH a dink about it…really sours the experience and makes me think twice about rolling the dice with sellers.
