#NowPlaying 🎧 HOPE by The Flower Kings 2026 New release by one of the most prolific progressive rock bands on the globe. Playing the surround mix on Apple Music today. This is the first time I've heard a Flower Kings album in surround if I remember correctly. I only own CDs and vinyl.

#NowPlaying 🎧 Distance over Time by Dream Theater 2019 The only Dream Theater album I didn't buy. I was so disappointed by the production and especially the drum sound that I didn't bother buying this one.

Just realized that it's a bit over three years ago that I was on Twitch playing this ambient bass guitar session, completely improvised. https://youtu.be/7CyBSWfPA5U?is=FUD6R7_NoJ8dJHSA What do you think? Should I cut a few singles from the performance and release them with the complete session as an album? File under: #ambient #twitch #youtube #bassguitar

@lemgandi From the essay: "The problem is not, primarily, that services collect data. The problem is that users have been convinced to treat pervasive surveillance infrastructure as benign or beneficial, and to respond to any criticism of it as paranoia, technical elitism, or failure to appreciate convenience. The learned helplessness is the crisis. The data collection is the symptom." At the age of 67 having been there since before the internet existed, I couldn't...

@lemgandi I just so no to FB. If folks can't be arsed to make any effort, it's their loss.
