In WW2, the US had a special unit called the Ghost Army, made of artists, actors and set designers whose job it was to confuse enemy troops. They did things like drive small convoys of tanks round in circles to make it appear like a large fleet, and lounge around and gossip in cafés to be overheard. Received an email from Amazon KDP asking me to do a "tax interview" for paying US tax. Logging in reminded me that they're holding any changes to my account hostage until I send them a scan of govt. ID. I'll send ID to the likes of Amazon when hell freezes over. So, I've requested KDP account deletion. The Renaud book is still available via Lulu (who also annoy me) and I haven't had any purchases for a while anyway, so good riddance.
