@libroraptor @georgemsavva @celestekidd @spiantado I actually didn't even realise that the publisher's url didn't work for everyone! Otherwise I do try always to do that, because I agree with you -- this stuff should be all open.

@zackwhittaker sad, I was hoping that was a shitpost 😅

I got some weird emails today. Supposedly from OnlyFans, so my first instinct was that this was some kind of scam. But no, it really came from one of their subdomains (backed by Sendgrid), DKIM signature checked out and all. Then I thought maybe someone had hacked Sendgrid again, but all links in the email went back to the real OF domain, so that didn't make much sense either. But the even weirder part was that two minutes before the email had shown up in my main inbox, another email with t...

Came into work today and my director ambushed me mid-conversation saying "let's get a coffee together" and I immediately had war flashbacks to my last job until she clarified everyone got one today.

Mass layoff idea: bring all the people being laid off into an auditorium with the C-Suite team and lock the doors. Give them a each a goodie bag with a knife in it as a severance package.

If you have not seen it yet, please check out this (devastating) security and privacy review of the European Age Verification app. The app is well-intended, but its implementation is deeply flawed. At the end of the review there is a comparison with the Yivi app, which does things right, see: https://docs.yivi.app/blog/eu-age-verification-security-analysis#the-architectural-difference Useful information for decision makers with ambitions about age verification for social media, e.g. in NL: @...

Omroep Gelderland, over Yivi ipv.

Het programma voor de volgende Yivi bijeenkomst, op vrijdagmiddag 25 sept, bij SURF in Utrecht, staat nu online, op: https://yivi.app/meetings/ Hope to see you then and there!

FYI: Yivi now has collected several demos on a single page: https://demos.yivi.app/ This shows how widely applicable Yivi is, with different kinds of attributes. Do get in touch if you wish to deploy Yivi for such or other scenarios. And do pass this message on to interested parties in your own circles.
