Finally I can walk outside with baby and it actually feel like fall. I think it rained last night but this is a nice change of pace. We were filling the bird feeders and watching the birds fly by for some food.

Now that I’m warmed up to #mastodon, I’m considering which #server to join for long term. Can someone explain, if I’m in a server with 10k users, what’s the difference between the local feed and the #federated feed? Wouldn’t it be better to join a smaller server related to one of my interests?

@shipp do you recommend joining any general smaller instance? Because I can’t find one for any of my specific interests (eg football, hiphop, nursing, etc). I’m on a very large server right now and my local feed feels just like my federated feed.

Am I missing something with the #mastodon #ios #mastodonapp ? I only see my home feed, no local or federated timelines. Or are they not implemented yet? @Mastodon

@TB41@mastodon.social I honestly didn’t listen to a ton of #hiphop this year but Denzel - Melt my Eyez really surprised me by how mature and just good it was. I’m also not a big Pusha T fan but I played the shit out of his album. @hiphop
