RE: https://mastodon.social/@threemaapp/116578374804425664 So WhatsApp has a #DeleteWhatsAppDay, which is great! We think Snapchat should have that every day: #DeleteSnapchat. Why? - No end-to-end encryption at all - Funded by advertising - Participates in voluntary chat controll

We recently updated twonly. Here are the two biggest updates: 1. Backups: Rebuilt to handle larger files, letting you keep all your contacts and messages. 2. Memories Viewer: Completely redesigned so you can select, export, or favorite multiple images at once and to be more performant. This also sets up our next features: password(less) recovery and encrypted cloud backups. We also fixed several bugs to make messaging much more reliable.

Snapchat now displays personalized ads directly in your chats. Your personal data, such as your phone number and app usage, is used for personalization. If you don't want that, switch to twonly now, where your data isn't analyzed for advertising purposes but is instead end-to-end encrypted. #E2EE #privacy #europe #unplugtrump #unplugbigtech #opensource #snapchat

RE: https://infosec.exchange/@tsmreu/116806525948769324 Coming soon to twonly: A backup solution that doesn't require you to remember a password 🥳. Before the release, there's a small challenge to make sure the protocol is secure. There's also a small bug bounty if you find something 💪👇

We just pushed the newest update, 0.5.0, which finally brings Post-Quantum-Crypto (PQXDH) to twonly. For this we use libsignal [1], which is Signal's library used also in their apps. Currently this is only for new chats, but in the next releases we will update all chats to use PQXDH. [1]: https://github.com/signalapp/libsignal #e2ee #privacy #security #signal #snapchat

What happens when you send a private message on #Snapchat? 1. An AI automatically scans your message and, if necessary, forwards it to the police. 2. You’ll be arrested and lose your job [1], or fighter jets will appear next to your plane [2]. And on @twonly? 1. The message is encrypted on your phone. 2. Only your friends can read the private message. [1]: https://www.gadgetreview.com/student-teacher-sent-a-private-snapchat-complaining-about-her-workday-an-hour-later-police-pulled-up-to-her-...

I've finally finished all my required documents and papers (as far as I know) and ready for my flight on the 25th (3 days!!). I would've been stopped in the airport because of a missing document that I found out about BY ACCIDENT when asking someone a question, because army service is required here, this doc just says that you will postpone your service to a later date and you need permission to travel anywhere. absolutely nobody told me about it. Egyptian burocracy is 大変すぎる💦

no matter how hard you try to believe that magic 8 ball answers are prophetic, its just statistics inside a ball. no matter hard you try to believe that AI answers are intelligent, its just statistics inside an app. intelligence is not statistics, yes our intelligence is complex, yes it is very flawed - but it doesn't run on weights or values.

I didn't do #3GoodThings already did I? 1. The very precious and treasured Dawg (squishy toy) which was discovered missing at bedtime turned up after an exhaustive search 🐶 2. Clean floors in most of the house 🧹 3. Feeling less despairing than usual 🤷🏻

What great fun it is in diving to bring up some pictures or video stuff! Undoubtedly that's a lot of work afterwards 😵. But check out these amazing results 🤩! Made by Joe Tidball: "Rewarding dive on the U-218 with Marko Jung. 60 mins at 55m and 2200 images later we have a half decent model. Thanks Dean Cullen & Mevagh Diving for the lift." https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/u-218-submarine-shipwreck-3fc8695150a145c59a37975569677671?fbclid=IwY2xjawT1gsRwZG9mAWV...

Hey fellow divers 🤿, if you're searching for an app for deco planning or gasblending, take a look at Dive Tools! Till today I used Multi-Deco and Gasblender Toolkit. The new app looks really promising. The UI is very nice! The app can be used as PWA on Android, iOS and Desktop. The programmer is Radim Pelanek, based in Czech Republic. We mailed some. A very nice guy! https://www.divetools.app @scubadivers #scuba #scubadiving #diving #tauchen
