I know I'm big time naive but gosh i'd love to take a crack at helping design a more pleasing DAW. This is FL Studio. Logic does look a bit better / feel a bit better, but there's gotta be a better way, yea?

A few of the car video/audio samples I used in the new track. Gonna try to start most/all tracks this (school) year with some personal audio samples 🔊

@jwz ChatGPT: You're right, that wasn't a recipe for risotto; it was instructions for throwing an improvised incendiary device. Good catch!

@ai6yr If only we had free and fair elections. 🙃

@samlitzinger They're afraid of Trump, plus they don't need to worry about pesky things like elections anymore. Even if they don't pass their "Save act", we know how it will play out: If a Republican wins = The people have spoken If a Democrat wins = Major voter fraud. The indignant Democrats will say "Hey, you can't do that", while the Republicans do it anyway.

@masnick.com Yours is not AI slop; it's home-made, hand-crafted slop. J/K Trying to detect if something was written by AI (especially using AI) is a bit of a Catch-22 isn't it, since the whole point of LLMs is to try to mimic human writing.

@galacticstone I suspect there'll be some money to make by shorting this junk, do so at your own risk, of course.

Reddit is cancelling its RSS feeds as part of a larger pattern of ending its support for unauthenticated API access. This is both a money grab since Reddit can make AI companies pay for their data, but also because AI crawlers have been slamming websites with API access: https://techcrunch.com/2026/09/30/reddit-is-killing-rss-feeds-ending-public-api-access-because-of-ai-bots/

🧠 Lab-grown human brain tissue, called organoids, transplanted into mouse brains can survive, grow, generate a diverse range of human brain cells, and organise into circuits and complex structures, according to US research, which suggests this may be a new way to grow human brain tissue outside of a human. The researchers engineered the mice to be missing almost all of their cerebral cortex (the outermost “rind” of the brain), and then they transplanted brain-like tissue grown from human cells i...

💉 An investigative article by a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist suggests that US officials suppressed warnings over a flawed COVID-19 vaccine safety algorithm. The reporter says officials relied on a single, compromised algorithm to detect harm from mRNA vaccines, were aware it was flawed, and silenced efforts to fix it. The findings are based on government emails and interviews with public health officials and other scientists. This relates to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (C...
