So, I've joined ko-fi as well! Frankly I feel it's quite weird to just go and ask people to support my art. Brings up all the old questions of does it really add value to the world, am I even a legitimate artist? Anyway, I've set up a shop too, but there's only a lonely otter for sale right now. More will follow! Thought it might be nice to sell art outside of the Netherlands. Shipping fees outside Europe are huge though. #art #supportArtists #KoFiCreatives #ko...

Re-introduction so I can pin this post with some of my art! I'm a Dutch artist and crafter, making things inspired by nature and European paganism. I often rotate between crafts and techniques to keep things interesting. Mostly drawing, painting and making wooden jewelry. My (Dutch) website is www.suzannespirit.nl, you can buy my art there (or send me a DM). #artis #dutchartist #art #mastoArt #artistsonmastodon #traditionalArt #painting #drawing #artforSale

so I just noticed in IG, if you tap the button on upper right of your art, it'll show up AI description generated real-time (it was empty first and there are Meta AI animation going on before the text is there) also I see more people who aren't using AI there are accused to use it, I expect both mainstream users and artists would become more confused and later we wouldn't be able to distinguish which ones are human made. anyway, those artists plead to be able to appeal...

whooops it's August! gah it's almost time to print. one more month til #COCOMA5 and me and @spiralhalo are still finishing our comic! 🥶🥶🥶 i know it's still bad to be unprepared, but you know what, if we didn't submit our comic to any cons, we wouldn't start to work on it (we both most likely has AuDHD), and we still have to take commissions to survive. and making personal indie comics in my area AFAIK, currently is unreliable for that. i know a local c...

Well annoyed by the fact that #JunoDownload just decided to shut down. No warning, email or anything. Just woke up and that is it. I had items I was going to buy on my wishlist. No doubt that lots of juno only releases will be lost to time.

You know you are getting old when you hear the #WiiSports intro music as a radio jingle.

They are good at coding. Much of it comes down to lack of testing and not reviewing and checking the code. From: @nixCraft https://mastodon.social/@nixCraft/116951917388536541
