在 #黃泉使者 裡我有一個長久的疑問： 以人類走進村子、面向守護石像的角度看，左邊的那個只有1支角是左大人、右邊的那個有2支角是右大人，因此，他們自稱「左」、「右」完全是以人類的視角來稱呼的。 但台灣的寺廟／合院可是完全相反的。我們稱合院的左右兩邊廂房是「左護龍」、「右護龍」；參拜寺廟的人們進寺廟不能走正中間的門（那是神明走的）一定要從旁邊的門進去，其中又因為「左青龍、右白虎」人們不入虎口，所以是從龍邊進去……這裡的「左」、「右」完全是以該寺廟／合院所祀神明的角度去看，什麼在神明的左邊、什麼在神明的右邊，整個建築都是以神明為中心在定義方向。 我對此耿耿於懷，難以接受左右使者居然是以人類的角度在稱呼他們自己。
