Man With Sign, August 7, 02026 Friday I roll out of bed with the alarm after a good night's sleep for the first time in a couple of days. Drink pre-vigil coffee and set out for Roosevelt Circle, arriving at 7:30 and setting up my big sign etc., then leaning on the guardrail and holding up MOTHER NATURE DOESN'T CARE WHAT YOU BELIEVE. Craige arrives a few minutes later. 1/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51fEbdhGjBo #ClimateChaos #GlobalWarming #HindustaniMusic #CitizenActivism

Why do cameras and lenses have to cost so much :neofox_sob: I’d like to replace my current camera. This has several reasons: to have more and better lenses availableto be able to do more low light photography stop losing detail in even slightly more distant parts. idk why, but even when things are in focus, my camera’s sensor doesn’t seem to have the density to capture super fine detail. The Idea: Get a used Sony a7RII. Good full frame camera with the ability to shoot in APS-C mode (so all...

We are trying to steal a moment of escape from our daily agony at the sea—our last and only refuge in Gaza. Please, keep my family in your prayers, and help me provide a single nutritious meal to feed my starving children today if you can. We haven't received any donations for a full week. The hunger is becoming a cruel monster, tearing at their little bodies, and breaking my heart as I watch them suffer helplessly. #Gaza #Palestine #GazaMutualAid https://chuffed.org/project/178629-noorha...

"A young writer is easily tempted by the allusive and ethereal and ironic and reflective, but the declarative is at the bottom of most good writing." ~ Garrison Keillor, born today, 1942. #GarrisonKeillor #Quote #Today
