Another piece of good news to share. Regarding how consistently speaking up & asking for better preventative health measures can sometimes lead to medical clinics improving things, for increased safety for all.
During the Summer, I had a polite but very stern talk with Mom's endocrinologist regarding my concerns over lack of masks required at her clinic (shared with another endocrinologist) & how lack of mandatory masking is putting already health compromised patients at more unnecessary risks of airborne infections.
Since that phone talk, Mom's endocrinologist put in place mandatory masking for all staff working inside & patients who are having in person appointments at the clinic.
I am pleased about this change 😷
